Is your school examining ways to protect educator mental health? QGCA members are now invited to explore Mindarma for free. Developed with the support of the Black Dog Institute and UNSW, Mindarma is an evidence-based online learning program, customised specifically for educators. Over ten short interactive sessions, Mindarma teaches a range of skills drawn from ACT, CFT, MbSR and MbCT. It’s proven to enhance psychological resilience, as well as factors including mindfulness, optimism, healthy coping and help seeking.

Mindarma learners can also access hundreds of helpful resources through its Brain Food continuous learning platform. The expert-curated platform includes guided audio exercises, articles, videos, podcasts, quotes, research and more. Additionally, Mindarma provides a full calendar of webinar events, available live or on demand. A great way to complete CPD, events include psychologist led-skills sessions and ‘how-to’ practicals, featuring leading expert on specialist subjects.

To support educators, Mindarma is available to schools at a discounted cost of $45+GST per learner for 12-month access.
